23/01/2010 - New Sponsor CASACAT ELECTRICAL
Thanks to Chris from Casacat Electrical for his support for the Kings Challenge at Mt Gambier's Borderline Speedway Friday night.
We couldn't keep doing what we do without our Sponsors so I'd just like to say thanks! We've had a rough trot these past few months and gee it would be nice for a break when it comes to luck but you know, you have those seasons in life that's for sure.
We head home later this week to do some racing back at home and take part in the Crispy Memorial in Toowoomba in a few weeks. It's always nice to come home after a long time on the road that's for sure.
The merch has been selling like crazy so if you want kids crew shirts, we've only got about 10 of those left. We've also got limited supply's of crew polo shirts so once this weekend's gone, we might have to get another order!
Don't forget, we're the only team that has girls merchandise with diamonte sprintcars and heaps of funky designs so make sure you check out our pink and black ranges of singlets and shirts.
We've been updating our facebook page live as the night progresses so make sure you check that out and otherwise, I'll update more when we get home.
Cheers - Andrew

Andrew
14/12/2009 - Merry Christmas & Speedweek!
Just a quick note to let you know we had a break before Speedweek commences on the 26th December and didn't race last weekend.
The transporter is having signwork finished and the cars are being maintained whilst the transporter is getting stocked with spare parts for our journey down South over the coming weeks.
In the meantime, we hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year filled with lots of love and laughs, surrounded by loved ones.
Merry Christmas from Ausdeck Racing!!
See you at the track soon.
Andrew!
01/12/2009 - Andrew Scheuerle Merchandise...
Is coming soon! We're in line for manufacture behind Billabong! So, I guess we'll just have to wait until their clothes are made - definitely high quality race gear that's for sure!
So, stay tuned on the website for the release!
Brand new Crew Polo's, Q25 shirts and lots more stock of the best selling kids t-shirts that sold out last season!
I'll be back soon with an update on this week's happenings around the race shop.
Andrew
29/11/2009 - TREVOR GREEN UPDATE
We've just been to see Trev after his accident at Charlton Raceway last night. After he came in contact with another car, he flipped and landed what appeared to be softly on the rear tail of the SA4 Adrad Maxim.
Trev got straight out of the car in pain holding his back and after being taken by ambulance to Toowoomba Base Hospital, he was admitted and waiting for a scan this morning to confirm fractures in his spine.
After initial x-rays showed three fractures, the scan revealed the L4 had a fracture but he would not require surgery thankfully and would not need to be transferred to Brisbane.
Trev will remain in hospital in Toowoomba while the pain settles down and when he can manage the pain he will be released from hospital.
Trevor will more than likely be out for a minimum of 4 months...
Thankfully, his back will heal. Get well Trev!

27/11/2009 - Andrew's Update..
It's been a busy week again in the race shop and it's almost time to hit the track again. I've got a good feeling about tomorrow night. We had a good race meeting there last year with World Series and we came third, thanks to my good friend Trevor Green, we were coming second and he pipped me on the last corner. That won't be happening again that's for sure!
Gleno's been working on the race car this week, changing things around so it should make the car respond better. The motor home part of our transporter was being fitted out with bunks so the team can sleep when we hit the road next weekend! So, that's finished and we're ready to go.
We don't return home until the New Year now so it'll be busy until then!
Our new merchandise is coming, the manufacturers have been flat out so it should be here in the coming weeks. Stay watching the website!
Until next week, have a good weekend and see you at the track.
Andrew
20/11/2009 - The Night Before a Big Race...
I'm lying on the couch contemplating whether I should eat my fruit n nut chocolate bar. After a few hours of thought, I think that my wife Jade should make me a cup of tea so I can enjoy my chocolate bar and relax, after all, it's very stressful being a race car driver!
But, on a serious note, the truck is washed and loaded. We've had the motor home being fitted with bunks this week so when us boys travel, we can get some sleep too. The boys have been flat out all week prepping the race car for tomorrow night and getting the spare car ready to go, for when we travel away in two weeks time to Sydney.
I've got my new race suit with all of this years sponsors which is pretty nice. We're happy with how it's turned out this year, Impact Racing make a good race suit that's for sure. I've got my new gloves & race boots coming. Yes, I'm looked after!!
Coco's had a bit of a rough week, she's been unwell for the past few days but she's getting better now. So, on that note, I'm off to bed and I'll catch you all, at the race track.
Make sure you come and say Hi to the Team and check out Rd 1's FIRST place trophy! It'll be GAME ON tomorrow night that's for sure!!!
Andrew
02/10/2009 - Time to Redeem Myself...
What a weekend it was..
We timed in average but made some changes to the car for the heats and went on to win both of them which placed us 4th on points. We ran 2nd in the dash which was good and that result then set us up for a front row start for the A main.
And what a A Main it was. I can honestly say it was one of those races where every lap was fun to be in the race car... other than the last quarter of a lap when I made one bad decision and James made me pay for it. And it still makes me mad a week later when I think about it!!
Anyway such is life; on the plus side the new colour scheme looks unreal and we're pretty happy with how the car came up this year.
I am at the gym most days of the week and would you believe you can find me most mornings taking Coco our dog for walks on the beach. Trying too anyway, when she's not EATING the sand! She is getting heaps bigger now and much healthier which is a nice change.
So bring on the 17th of October so I can redeem myself at round 2 of the QSSS Series.
Andrew
11/09/2009 - Andrew Scheuerle's Off to Mackay!
Early this morning Andrew Scheuerle and Team Owner Stewart Craig headed to Mackay for the $10k to win race held over two night's at Mackay Speedway.
Scheuerle is racing this weekend in the QT Chassis car of Allan Woods and both teams are hoping for a favourable result and a great start to the season.
We'll keep the blog updated with the results of tonight and tomorrow night's racing but don't forget to check out the updated schedule for Ausdeck Racing which has just been posted!
The Team have got a massive schedule ahead of them and plan on travelling Nationally this year to contend most World Series events and the majority of the racing calendar for Brisbane International Speedway as well.
We've also got a brand new Sponsor as part of the Ausdeck Racing Team and we'll be anouncing that shortly so stayed tuned on the Ausdeck Website.
We're working on brand new merchandise with our new logos and we'll have a whole new range of gear, as well as some of our last season stock at sale prices.
Keep udpated with all your team news via our website and feel free to leave an encouraging note for the team in our guestbook!
We've got heaps of exciting things happening and there'll be plenty of announcement's coming over the next month.
Until then, see you at the track!
The Ausdeck Racing Team!
11/08/2009 - What's been happening!
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to touch base and let you know what has been happening in the world of Ausdeck Racing.
It has been a busy off season rebuilding cars and motors so we have been keeping Speedy out of trouble and at his age, it doesn’t take much!
We have some new Sponsors this year that we will be releasing to you guys over the next month so that is very exciting and we are proud to be associated with these great companies. Stay watching the website for full details over the coming weeks.
I have been in the gym with my wife Jade, training for the upcoming season so that has been fun (& painful) but, I need to stay fit for the racing season. The biggest thing happening at the moment is that Jade & I have a new addition to our family that we got a couple of weeks ago. A beautiful little puppy called Coco, she's a Tibetan Spaniel x Chihuahua and she's pretty cool. She has a very cool personality and loves to be roughed up and has teeth like needles. The toilet training is slowly coming along, that's Jadey's job!
Here is a picture of Coco! I think Maverick (The Ausdeck Racing Guard Dog!) would eat her for his morning tea!

Stay posted for the latest news and photos.
See you at the track soon - Andrew
08/06/2009 - Qld Title Rundown!
Well, we had a weekend of high's and low's after we won the first night of the Queensland Title and then, on the final night when it counted, we ran third... One could assume I got it back-to-front as far as the results go but anyway, that's life... Or that's what I'm telling myself anyway!
Saturday afternoon it rained at Maryborough Speedway just as we unloaded so Speedy's got his work cut out for him cleaning the truck & trailer this week. There was plenty of mud walked through the transporter that's for sure.
We stayed in Hervey Bay at the Mantra Resort so we had a nice few days away as a team and now we're home planning the next season already!
Stay watching my blog and our news for all the latest happenings in the team. This ones just a quick blog but we're heading to the swap meet on Saturday at Brisbane International Speedway to sell spares so if you need anything, make sure you come and see us!
Cheers - Andrew
01/06/2009 - For a moment...
Well, for a moment, the car felt so good I thought I was Donny Schatz and then... when I hit the wall, I realised I was Andrew Scheuerle!! But, thankfully we won the Comp Cams Championship for Ausdeck Racing and although I really wanted to win another A main for the season, I'm thankful we took home the Championship.
To tell you the truth, I can't believe how good the car feels. We were just getting quicker and quicker as the night went on and I had complete trust in the car and I guess got a little too comfortable in it and made a mistake. Which I'm a bit disappointed with but I'm glad the car feels so good leading into the Qld Title this weekend.
We were almost half a second a lap quicker than the rest of the field throughout the A Main and I turned the quickest lap of the night in the last six laps just before I went on to scrape the wall. It was an awesome night, I'm happy for Stewart and the whole Team.
Thank you to the boys who have given me an awesome car to drive. We'll put on a show for the fans this weekend that's for sure.
Come and say Hi to us all at the Ausdeck Racing transporter and grab some merchandise before it's all sold out!
Cheers - Andrew
17/05/2009 - We Did It... FINALLY
We finally won our first A Main of the season and it was nice to get the 'monkey off my back' leading into the next few rounds. We've got the Comp Cams final on the 30th May and then the Qld Title. I'm hoping I can bring home the Q1 for Ausdeck as well as the Series so with the car responding the way it did last night, I'm pretty confident we're going to have a good few race meetings.
We made some changes to the car and we've been working on it and finally, we've got it sorted... With only a few race meetings to go mind you but I'm glad we've got it working now when it counts when the Qld Title is coming and also the Series final.
I'll be back to write more later but in the meantime, see you at the track!
Andrew
11/05/2009 - Andrew's Update!
Hi Everyone,
We had a very successful weekend having started out of 2 for the A main, we went on to finish second and record more valuable points for the championship, and with one round to go we are leading the series and sitting in a very good position in the championship so I am happy about that!
This weekend will be the East Coast Pipelines race and with 5K on the line it should be interesting to say the least. The following race meeting will be the final of the Comp Cams Series which I can’t wait to get over and done with and that will put some closure to the race Series as I don’t have to worry about the points anymore. So we can just get stuck into some good hard racing after that and what ever happens will happen so stay tuned it could get interesting.
We've got the Queensland Title coming so I'm looking forward to an awesome weekend and I'll be hoping to get a win in for the season and bring home the Q1! As all drivers are!!
I've been told we'll have all our race merch at the meetings from now on so if you want some funky Ausdeck gear, just come and see us at the transporter.
Stay tuned for more news.
Andrew

17/04/2009 - Andrew's News....
Hi Guys,
Just thought I would let every one know what happened last weekend over easter so you know what's happening in the Team.
The first night of the Woodstock Bourbon Easter Trail, we hot lapped and qualified then got the first round of heats in and it rained. Then it rained some more and by about 10pm we scrapped the second round of heats and went straight into the Dash. I started fourth and ran 3rd so we where happy with that.
Then came the A main. It was locked down with only one racing line due to the rain earlier on and having started 3rd we finished 2nd and I was very happy at the end of the night so it was time to load up and head to Toowoomba for the second night.
It looked like it was going to rain all day but ended up not raining much at all thankfully and track conditions were fast and once again we qualified to start out of 3 for the A main and that is where we finished the race which gave us enough points to win the Easter Trail overall which was pretty cool.
I had no idea we'd won the overall weekend until I was on the infeild and Mark told me. I was pretty happy about that so I jumped straight on the phone and left a message for the car owner. It was some good news we've been searching for.
Anyway, we are about to load the trailer for Round 10 of the Comp Cams tomorrow night so I better get going. After talking to the club we've worked out that after we drop our worst round, we are still leading both the Comp Cams Series and the Club Championship at this stage and we are only a few points behind Todd Wanless in the Team Owner's points for Comp Cams so we'll see what happens after this weekend.
I'm more trying to just win an A main this weekend, it's long overdue!!
We will see you there.
Andrew
16/04/2009 - Updating Soon....
I'm just writing the blog so we will update it tonight. Stay tuned for all the latest team news...
Andrew
26/03/2009 - Where Do I Start...
Well, where do I start...
It has been a tough couple of weeks for Ausdeck Racing. The last Comp Cams round we went in with a 70 point lead and left with a 25 point lead due to being taken out by another competitor in the first heat race.
Then to add insult to injury it was a double points night and we have two of them in the Comp Cams Series and that round just happen to be one of them. So after working on the car all night we started 9th in the B Main. We won that and then started 13th in the A main and ran 4th so all in all it wasn’t a bad night.
So then we pushed on to Maryborough and after a little bit of rain the meeting got under way. We qualified off the front row and got a flat tyre with 2 laps to go and ended on up on the infield.
I believe in making my own luck and we have a team that is more than capable of winning the Comp Cams Championship even after all these dramas in the last couple of weeks, so with the Big Fella upstairs helping us, I'm looking for big things this Saturday night for the next round of the Comp Cams.
See you at the track!
Andrew
15/03/2009 - When It All Went Wrong..
Well, last night was a night to forget really, up until the finish of the A Main. It was a double points round for the Comp Cams so the pressure was on the teams to perform and we are closely followed by Todd Wanless in the Comp Cams Team Owner's Championship points so we needed to do well in order to keep our lead...
The first heat we were run over minding our own business and that took our front end out. It was catch up time then for the rest of the night and the boys and I just didn't stop working the whole night. We didn't really get a chance to fine tune our setup because what could have gone wrong did for the whole night until the B Main and then A Main. Yep, we were in the B Main and we started out of 9th to be exact!
We had our work cut out.
The power steering box went after the front end got knocked out so the second heat I battled with the race car the whole heat with no power steering. The car felt terrible. Then we changed the steering box and my steering wheel didn't fit, so when we started the car just to check it, I had to steer it back in because, well, I couldn't really steer the thing!
We borrowed a steering wheel, then went out for the B Main and thanks to the Big Fella upstairs, we won the B Main. I was stuffed from the heavier steering box and then we had the 30 lap A Main to do, starting out of 13th position.
We passed about six cars in the first lap, then we worked our way forwards to fourth and I was thinking about taking on Pete for third but the Championship is what we are after, not necessarily podium finishes if it means we could get caught up in another accident.
Probably in hindsight, I would have liked to have had a crack at passing Pete because we had some opportunities but I was cautious because after the night we had, I figured fourth was better than crashing out trying to get third. Especially on a double points round.
What could have easily been a major disaster turned out to be ok in the end and if a fourth position is our worst night, we'll take it.
So, I think we may have given our lead over to Todd for now... But there's still plenty of racing yet boys! It's on!
Andrew
31/01/2009 - Quick One
This is just a quick one to let you know what's happening with me and the boys. We've lasted in the heat wave here in SA that's just about taken it's toll on everyone! It was absolutely ridiculous and I'm glad we're heading to WA where it's meant to be cooler.
We've leave tomorrow to head across to WA for the long long trip. Lucky we've got aircon in the truck! It was a pretty good weekend at the race track although tonight wasn't what we were looking for, the car is in one piece and we were competitive racing from the rear of the field to finish seventh.
We've washed and serviced the car tonight and it's early Sunday morning so I better get some sleep. We've got plenty of pictures so we'll load them in the next day or two.
Stay tuned with what's happening at www.ausdeckracing.com.au and don't forget to grab your new merch before it's all sold out. We've stocked up on 2009 merch for the Australian Title so come and grab it while it lasts.
Andrew
28/01/2009 - Far Out
What a night at the race track on Saturday night. The diff had to be replaced between heats and we almost didn't get out onto the track but thankfully we made it just in time. I think if I'd dropped that heat, the Comp Cams points wouldn't have gone our way.
We finished the night with a podium for the boys which was good after all their hard work. We are all on our way to Adelaide for the racing this weekend. Then we leave for the very very long road trip to WA for the Titles.
It's just the boys in the transporter for this trip so who knows what we'll be reporting on for next week. Jadey is flying to meet us there. The whole Ausdeck Racing team is planning to travel so make sure you come and say Hi to us at the track.
We've sold out of some merchandise sizing in the ladies shirts so make sure you get in quick. The guys Team Polo shirts are selling well too which is always great for the Team.
All I've got say is it's been a big few days, it was nice to have Australia Day off but we have been so busy getting everything ready for these next two weeks of racing.
I'm also hoping the heat wave that's hit SA will be gone by the time we arrive or Speedy might be "not so Speedy" by the time Saturday night rolls around. We'll wait and see for that one.
Andrew
12/01/2009 - Finally We're On Track
Well, finally we've found a problem with the race car after we were crashed out a few weeks ago in Brisbane. We'd been over the car and checked everything but Sunday morning at the workshop we found a small problem with the chassis, fixed it and waited to see what would happen at the World Series round in Toowoomba last night.
The problem we found was exactly what had made the car feel terrible for the past four race meetings. No matter what we did, we couldn't get the car to respond so I knew there was more to it than just the setup. Last night's podium result was just what the team needed.
The boys and I have been working flat out for the past week and we'll be at it again for World Series at Parramatta on Friday and Saturday night. This was just a quick post to let you all know what's happened over the past week. Some press releases will be loaded shortly so keep watching the website for the reports for World Series.
Our schedule over the coming weeks will be Parramatta then back home to Brisbane then to Adelaide and then on to the Title in Western Australia. I'm looking forward to racing away so we'll see if we can bring some podium finishes home.
Thanks to all you fans who came out and saw us over the past few shows in Brisbane and Toowoomba. It's always great to see our supporters so we hope you'll stay updated with us and come and see us when we're back in Brisbane on the 24th of January!
Cheers - Andrew
05/01/2009 - The Week Ahead
Hi to everyone and a Happy New Year! Well, where do I start... The next 2 weeks are going to be crazy with racing on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights at Brisbane and then we head up to Toowoomba for Sunday for another World Series round so it going to be very busy.
Then we are off to Parramatta Speedway for the Gand Final next week so it should be interesting. We lost Saturday nights racing due to rain so we are busy preparing the car for Wednesday nights World Series round and making sure we have everything loaded in the transporter for the coming week.
So come and see me put the Ausdeck Patios and Roofing Maxim into victory lane over the coming weeks and come down and say hello in the pits and check out all of our latest merchandise. We've finally got some Q25 & Q9 hats so for all the fans out there, come and grab one!
Cheers - Andrew
30/12/2008 - The chase is on....
Well the chase is on for my first win of the season. I'm tired of hearing about it so we better do something about it I guess. We're working on the car today at the race shop so we'll be ready for Thursday night at Archerfield.
I was pretty happy with the car at Maryborough speedway, we felt quick and the boys did a good job getting to Maryborough and servicing the car straight after the races at Brisbane on Boxing Day. I was pleased with second place and I'm looking forward to what Thursday night brings.
On a merchandise note, you'll see we've added all of our brand new merchandise to the website and you can now purchase online! All of the Ausdeck Racing merchandise is made by Lifestyle Clothing and the quality is second to none. The 2009 hats have been a big favourite with Stewart's Q9 number on the back and my Q25 number on the front. The 2009 Crew Shirts have been a massive hit so make sure you grab yours online or at the race transporter at the track.
So, keep an eye out for the Q25 Ausdeck Patios & Roofing Maxim on New Years Day where hopefully we'll take another podium!
Have a great New Year!
Andrew
24/12/2008 - Welcome!
Hello and welcome to our first ever Team post on our new website developed by the guys at Flip Creative. This Blog area is where Andrew & the Team will write about what's happening each week and their future plans as the season rolls on.
It's all rolling along as planned at this stage of the season although a few A Main wins would be nice but we are now leading both Championships so we're looking forward to the busy racing weeks ahead. In January the team race 5 nights out of about 7 so we'll have to be organised for that week but the whole team is ready to get stuck into the season.
We've had so much rain in Queensland, the first few race meetings were cancelled and re-scheduled for early 2009. Even so, with not much racing and no A Main wins yet, we currently hold the one lap track record at BIS and we also lead the Comp Cams Series and the Sprintcars Queensland Championship so we're confident as a Team that we'll get some A Main wins on the board in the coming weeks.
Stay tuned over the Christmas break for all the upated news and blogs.
Everyone at Ausdeck Racing would like to wish you all a blessed Christmas and a Prosperous 2009 !! Thanks for being a part of Ausdeck Racing in 2008 and we look forward to what the New Year will bring.
