02/04/2010 - AUSDECK RACING READY FOR EASTER TRI-CITY SHOOTOUT

Ausdeck Racing's Andrew Scheuerle is gearing up for some podium results this weekend as the team prepares for the Qld Easter Tri-City Shootout starting in Maryborough on Friday evening, BIS on Saturday evening and finishing in Scheuerle's former home town of Toowoomba at Charlton Raceway. "There's big money up for grabs this weekend and we'll be looking to take out the Series again this year after winning it overall last year." Scheuerle said.

It's been a season of high's and low's for the Queensland based star however he's determined to finish the season on a high with this weekends racing and the Queensland Title still to be run. Ausdeck Racing has been preparing for the 2010/2011 schedule after buying a new engine and also changing chassis brands. The remainder of their 2010 season will be used for testing and development to ensure next year, Scheuerle starts his season in good form.

The team also has downsized with Gleno Inglis taking a job offer in Western Australia so currently, Gary and Rod are looking after the Q25 Ausdeck Patios & Roofing sprintcar.

Scheuerle is looking forward to the racing in the coming months after rain re-scheduled a number of rounds to April. This year saw Ausdeck Racing travel around Australia contending a full schedule of racing however, with Scheuerle not chasing any Championships this year, he has his sights set firmly on winning as many races as he can to finish the season.

If the last meeting at BIS is anything to go by, although rained out, Scheuerle timed in with quicktime and was on a mission before rain cancelled the night's events. "It's about time for a few race wins, we've got a new engine which KRE Race Engines is looking after and it's incredible. I'm really happy with the power it's giving me and finally I feel like we're ready for some race wins. I'm ready to claim the Qld Title back too, it's been a year so I'm going to give it everything I've got."
