03/04/2010 - SCHEUERLE'S INJURY FORCES HIM OUT OF TRI-CITY SERIES
Andrew Scheuerle unfortunately suffered an injury to his wrist in last night's Maryborough race at the Tri-City Easter Shootout and after seeing doctors today has been told not to race for another week.
After only a few laps in, Peter Lack spun on a restart causing the field to bunch right up with Scheuerle and Gessner braking hard to avoid any further contact, resulting in the two getting hooked on eachother and Scheuerle then flipping and crashing out. He was then hit by another car while he flipped.
"Thecar itself only needs new front and rear ends and a top wing but my wrist is definitely too sore to race, it's been badly sprained so it's not worth damaging it further and hurting anyone else incase I can't steer the car properly." Scheuerle said today.
The Ausdeck Team will be back at the races next week hopefully and they're gearing up for the all important Queensland Championship.
