18/04/2010 - SCHEUERLE TAKES SECOND AT QSSS RD 8

Andrew Scheuerle is feeling like he's back in form after finishing with second place on Saturday night at Brisbane International Speedway for round eight of the QSS Series.

Scheuerle, who changed to the Cool Chassis brand during the week, was pleased with the result for the team. "It's been a few months since I felt really comfortable in the car and now, I'm feeling great. The new chassis drives exactly the way I like it, smooth and straight off the corners and along with our new motor, we're getting our package for next season sorted. I must also thank Croft Construction in South Australia for all of their support this year, we appreciate it." It's been a tough season for Ausdeck Racing but Scheuerle is determined to finish it on a high. The team are getting ready for the Queensland Title in two weeks time and Andrew is really looking forward to a podium finish there. After winning the Queensland Title in 2006 & 2007, Scheuerle would like 2010 to be his year for the Ausdeck team. "The boys work so hard, my car owner gives me the best of everything so it would be nice to win the title for them so I'm going to give it everything I've got. Hopefully some luck will come our way on the night." The new Cool Chassis the team have been working with, gave Scheuerle the difference he has been searching for. He feels more comfortable in his seat and feels like the car drives him hard off the corner. "You only need to look at Brooke Tatnell's record to see that they clearly work" Shirls said, so the team are currently getting panels painted for the Qld Title.
